Drive By Tourism, Penn Station

I've been to Penn Station many times. Usually I'm coming up from the subway, looking to transfer to a train, or cutting through the building to cross an avenue indoors. In all of these instances, I have never entered through the main entrance.

Who knew it was so beautiful inside! As you enter down a sweeping marble staircase, you see the busy people rushing around below. Look up and you see the beautiful green painted ceiling. Tall windows with sunlight bounced against the polished marble floor. Something about its shininess, and its sense of urgency really touched me.
