Perfectly Purple

Purple.

This week we performed in an amazing venue that was 100% purple, inside and out. The crew said that we could have fit 10 of our sets on their stage, it was so big. All you could see was a vast expanse of purple seats. The house sat about 2,000; we had audiences of about 1,000 each for our two shows of the day.

So purple! The outside was purple, the inside walls were purple, the carpet, the furnishings, everything you can think of. Very memorable. What was more memorable was how the staff treated us. We were given such respect and held in such high regard; we really got the star treatment. We were very comfortable during our one day stay at their venue, and their efforts were much appreciated by all. They were so generous to us. What a great start to our tour.

Now we have three days off on a remarkably beautiful beach. I had no idea beaches were this nice in Florida! Today I was lazy, lazy, lazy. Lets see...I ate breakfast on the top floor dining room that overlooks the beach, did my laundry, napped by the pool, and then returned to the same dining room to have dinner and watch the sunset. In a few minutes some of us are going to another part of town to the "Daiquiri Deck." Can't complain. Its been a good day.
