Jeepers-Creepers, Batman! Crazy people abound!

As per CNN.com, a woman in Canada is accused of holding a fake casting call for infants, in a plot to steal a baby. 

"After moving to Canada, she allegedly placed an advertisement on Craigslist offering $15,000 for a newborn to act in a Bollywood-style film, CNN affiliate WABC reported.

She posed as a casting director and waited in a Toronto building for parents to arrive, the affiliate said. 

Gopaul then allegedly abducted the young girl at the casting call after the girl's parents allowed her to take the child into another room. She fled with the child in a taxi but the girl was found unharmed hours later, WABC said."

Can you believe that this is real? Sadly there are plenty of scams out there. What parent would allow their child to be left unattended with a complete stranger? What could the 1 month old possibly have done unattended in the audition room that it couldn't have done with it's parent? A monologue from King Lear? There is a fine line between parents who support their children in pursuing an early career, and those that impose their own hopes and dreams on their children. I'm going to assume that this is the later.

These are real parents who didn't know they were part of a mockumentary. One woman was willing to let her child be in a fast moving vehicle without a carseat? Seriously, people.
