My Boyfriend Jimmy

I came home to Maryland for an impromptu trip to surprise my best friend for her birthday. I also took the opportunity to catch up with some loved ones at home.

My brother and I took a road trip to Damascus, MD to visit our favorite ice cream stand, Jimmy Cone. Growing up we used to call this "visiting Jimmy."

Their custard is the best! Not too sweet and rich and creamy. Mine are always covered in rainbow jimmies (aka sprinkles). This place would be the perfect candidate for the TV show, "Diners and Dives." At 10pm last night, there was still a pretty good line! If we travel forty minutes from home, I'm sure other people also have the same idea. This ice cream stand has been in business since 1952 (its just that good!).
