Plum Smoothie



The food processor is back!

This morning I made a plum-banana smoothie. I only used one frozen banana, and added some almond milk, so it was more like a drinkable fruit shake than an ice-creamish treat. Surprisingly, the plums tasted like a sweet berry, and it added some new texture to the banana. It was a great natural sugar boost to my morning coffee, I was bouncing off the walls at work!

1 frozen banana
1 plum
1/2 cup almond milk
1 cup yogurt
1 tbsp honey
1/4 tsp vanilla.

Put in food processor. Magic. Makes two servings.

  1. Yum, this looks awesome Britt! I was never a big plum person but we've gotten tons in CSA this summer so I've been eating them in cereal-yogurt messes. Yum.
