Small-Town America


We've been traveling our way through some pretty small towns in Tennessee and Alabama. Sometimes all you see is road in the distance, stretching as far as you can see.

We stayed in the smallest town I've ever seen, where there was a small town square area that included a courthouse, a few restaurants, and a WalMart. Oddly enough, there was also a Performing Arts Center. Our hotel was ranked #1 out of 1 hotel in town. (That kind of cracks me up.)

We truly are bringing this musical to a huge range of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. And they all helplessly fall into giggles. Kind of gives me hope for the future of our country, since we have such basic, human instincts in common.


Cotton fields! We've also been passing a lot of haystacks and beautiful, fire-colored trees.
